Poetry Out Loud (POL) is a national arts education program that empowers high school students to have the confidence to make themselves heard, using one of the most powerful tools at their disposal—poetry. It encourages teens to learn about poetry through memorization, performance, and competition.
Please join us for an inspiring evening as high school students participate in San Mateo County's 5th Annual Poetry Out Loud Competition on Feb. 16, 6-8pm. This virtual event celebrates youth and poetry. We invite the community to attend and cheer them on.
